Hello,my name is Jodie and I am the owner of Nappies Covered.
I am a mother to four wonderful children,and wife to a wonderful man.
Cloth nappies are my passion,I love spreading the word and helping others to their way to cloth nappydom!
When I first opened the Nappies Covered online store back in late 2004 we were Sheep and Wheat farmers in the Mid North of SA. Unfortunately due to the drought we had to sell our farm and move to the big smoke,that’s if you consider Victor Harbor the big smoke!
I opened Nappies Covered after doing a web search some years ago. In my search I found nothing readily available here in Australia to make your own Modern Cloth Nappies. All products were in the USA. I decided to help us Aussies out,opening my store and supplying the Australia market with wonderful Modern Cloth Nappy making supplies. Not only do I help Aussies out but now parents worldwide!
Nappies Covered has been up and running now for four,going on five years now. It started off as a small hobby,selling a few fabrics to friends from my own stash,to what it is today,a business providing parents of Australia,New Zealand and other countries of the world with great Modern Cloth Nappy products.
The growth of my business is more than just that,to me it means that the word is getting out there,that people are taking notice and making the change to cloth –and in the process are helping our planet.
My customers all seem to share the same passion as I do,and what a great passion it is! Creating wonderful nappies for beautiful babies and helping the environment in the process. I never tire of hearing of your experiences,trials,designs and love the photos that you share. It is wonderful to be a part of this fantastic,caring Modern Cloth Nappy community.
