What way should my bamboo fleece face when I sew in double layers?

This is personal preference.  Neither way makes a difference to how absorbent the fabric will be.

I personally like to face the fleece inwards so that the fabric wears better.

Some people like to face the fleece out so that if the fabric touches the baby's skin it is touched by the fluffy side.
