At Nappies Covered we sell three types of PLAIN Polyester PUL. Standard PUL and Premium PUL (not yet in stock) and Fabrite PUL, which will soon not be available.

All of these PUL fabrics are tried and tested and are quality PUL.

The below are for POLYESTER PLAIN PUL only.

Standard Plain PUL

Standard PUL is bought from our supplier in China.  The PUL is adhesive applied and has a very strong application to the polyester fabric.

The standard plain PUL is a polyester fabric with a 2 mil laminate applied to the back.

The polyester has a bit of stretch to it.  To those used to Fabrite PUL it does have more stretch than the Fabrite PUL, stretch is in both directions, but is not so stretchy that it would contribute to problems when sewing.

We have tried and tested this fabric and found it to be a quality product.  This PUL fabric is used in the manufacture of many brand name cloth nappies.  The company who supplies this fabric is one who manufactures quality products for some Australia cloth nappy companies.

This fabric is for everyday use. 

Standard PUL comes is 140cm in width and can be bought in the following cuts -

• Nappy Cut  70cm x 50cm

• Half Metre 140cm x 50cm

• Metre Cut 140cm x 100cm

Fabric can be washed in water up to 60 degrees and is tested for 100 washes.

Premium Plain PUL

Premium Plain PUL will be in stock at the end of November 2010.

Premium plain PUL is a 2 MIL PUL from our USA supplier.  The laminate is heat applied and has a very strong application to the polyester fabric.

This PUL is very similar to the Fabrite brand having the same look as the fabrite PUL.  The stretch is slightly  more one way.

We have tried and tested this fabric and found it to be a quality product. It is used by many US cloth diaper companies as their waterproof layer.

This fabric is for everyday use.

Fabrite PUL

Is the well known brand of PUL that most cloth nappy users would know.

Unfortunately in early 2010 Fabrite ceased to trade so this fabric is no longer available. We have limited stock available and once it is gone there will be no more.

Fabrite Plain PUL is a 2 MIL PUL from Fabrite in the USA.  The laminate is heat applied.
