Sherpa

Back to fabric types

Sherpa is an absorbent fabric.

Sherpa  is a knit  fabric that has been brushed and washed to raise the fibers and give a fluffy super soft feel.  It is made from cotton usually 75-80% and polyester 20-25%.

The cotton content of the fabric is in the top fleecy pile of the fabric, while the polyester content is found in the backing.  This adds durability to the finished fabric product.

Sherpa makes for wonderful fitted nappies, boosters or as an inner layer of your nappies.
